Details
Mahapooram High School was established in Kutukchhari area in 1973. The big mahapurem is the word big Maru meaning that the big maruti is originated from the Chenggi River, it goes through the Kutukchari reaching the Gaya Kawkhali border. As a result, Baramahapuram was named after Marum. The only high school in Kutukchari union. Babu Lal Mohan Chakma (Carbary), the founder of this school. It is located beside Chittagong Khagrachari main road. It takes 25-30 minutes to get CNG from Rangamati city.
